OUR BRANDS

Arnold & Son, the Swiss timepiece brand established in 1764, gained a reputation for producing the most accurate marine chronometers of the era, allowing sailors to accurately find longitudes while navigating from one place to another in addition to measuring time, between the 18th and 19th centuries. Named after the 18th century British watchmaker John Arnold who worked on marine chronometers, Arnold & Son continues its legacy today by discovering the modern ways of interpreting traditional watchmaking. The chronometers produced by Arnold & Son have been guiding James Cook's many extraordinary expeditions, including across the Pacific Ocean. Arnold & Son develops its own timepieces, including complex calibres, based on the production of the Swiss watchmaking industry based in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
